Richard Rick Dean Stahl, 63, of Plainfield, IL passed away on May 7, 2022. Rick was born June 18, 1958 in Sandwich, IL to Everett Butch and Etta (Weber) Stahl. Rick was a 1976 graduate of Sandwich High School and 1980 graduate of SIU, earning a Bachelor s Degree in Aviation and Aircraft Maintenance. His first true passion was his family with flying his second true love. He had the privilege of traveling the world and impacting everyone he met along the way. He also enjoyed camping and loved spending time with his grandkids, especially encouraging them in all of their endeavors. He dearly loved his fur baby, Dixie, and taking her to Starbucks for her Puppuccino. As a tissue donor, his generous nature continues on. Rick s infectious smile and welcoming heart will live on in all of us who were blessed by his grace and love.
Rick is survived by his wife, Rebecca Becky his parents, Butch and Etta Stahl of Sandwich, IL; 2 children, Jennifer (Chris) Richardson of Joliet, IL and Emily (Bobby) Cuddy of Diamond, IL; 4 grandchildren, Jacob, Ethan, Mackenna and Camryn; As well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 12 from 3:00 7:00 P.M. at Beverage Family Funeral Home, 104 Terry St. Sandwich, IL 60548. Funeral Services will be Friday, May 13, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home with graveside services to follow at Oak Mound Cemetery in Somonauk, IL.
