Richard Allen "Dick" Stevens

Richard "Dick" Allen Stevens, age 78, of Bridgeport, passed away Monday, August 21, 2023, in Saginaw. The son of Erwin and Elizabeth (Smith) Stevens, Dick was born January 29, 1945, in Saginaw, Michigan. He married Vera Mae Schwind on July 11, 1997.
Dick was in the plumbing business for many years. He was a skilled carpenter and he also loved wood carving, often selling his work at craft shows with his wife, Vera. Dick enjoyed classic cars, going to car races, fishing, music, and as a sociable person, loved visiting with others whether it was in person or catching up on the phone with a friend. Dick's greatest joy in life was his family and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Dick is survived by his beloved wife of 26 years, Vera Mae Stevens; loving children, David (Wilma) Stevens, Brandon (Millie) Stevens, Desiray (Mike) Infante, Angela (Ian) Venable, Patrick Miller, and Alexander (Melissa) Miller; many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins; sister, Diana (Paul) LaPrad; brothers and sisters-in-law, John Schwind, George (Donna) Schwind, and Margaret Simmons.
Honoring Dick's wishes, cremation has taken place. There are no services planned at this time.
