Richard "Dick" Theis, age 84 of Albertville, MN, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2024. He was born on September 14, 1939, in Minneapolis, MN, to Bert and Bernice (Primeau) Theis.
A proud graduate of DeLaSalle High School in 1957, Dick pursued higher education at the University of St. Thomas. Shortly after college, it was through mutual friends that he was introduced to Kathleen Brosnahan on a blind date. Dick's hospitality often centered around food, as he loved sharing meals and good conversations. His genuine interest in people, combined with his charisma, made everyone feel comfortable and cared for. He had a unique ability to socialize with anyone and was always eager to make new friends.
His hobbies included playing cribbage, golf, watching birds and observing wildlife, camping, enjoying meals out, and he was a friend to all dogs.
