Richard Treviño Obituary

It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Richard G. Trevino, who left us on August 27, 2025. He was a man whose spirit could light up any room, whose laughter was contagious, and whose personality was as bold as it was loving.

Richard was known for his outgoing nature, a true jokester who never missed a chance to make those around him smile. His sense of humor, sharp wit, and infectious laugh could turn any ordinary day into an unforgettable one. Yet, beyond the jokes and the laughter, he was a man of deep conviction, someone who never hesitated to speak his mind and always stayed true to himself. He didn't believe in sugarcoating things-what you saw was what you got-and that honesty was one of the many qualities that endeared him to everyone who knew him.

Family meant the world to him, and his love was unwavering. He was a rock for his children, a devoted partner, and a loyal friend. His love for those closest to him was always evident in his actions, his words, and the way he showed up every day. Though his jokes and playful teasing will be deeply missed, it's his love, strength, and loyalty that will be remembered most.

Richard had a passion for sports that was unmatched, especially his devotion to his San Francisco 49ers. A die-hard fan, he cheered for his team with the same intensity and dedication that he brought to everything in his life. Whether watching the game with friends or alone, his
enthusiasm never waned, and his excitement was contagious. The 49ers weren't just a team to him-they were a source of joy, pride, and community, just as his family was.

He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and no-nonsense honesty that will continue to inspire all who were lucky enough to know him. While we will miss him deeply, we find comfort in the memories, the lessons, and the joy he brought into our lives.

Richard is survived by his son, Richard Jr and wife, Jessica, grandson Nykolas, granddaughter Emellie and great-granddaughter Rayne Isabella; daughter Jessica Marie Trevino; daughter Jaselle Ann DeLaRosa Trevino; brothers David, Eddie, Bobby and sister Yolanda; stepchildren,
numerous nieces, nephews and friends he made along the way. He is preceded in death by his wife Donna, father David, mother Belen and sister Sylvia.

Rest in peace Richard AKA Ricky, Dad, Grandpa, BooBoo and Unc. You will forever be missed and will always hold a special place in our hearts.
