Richard Glenn Waldon passed away on September 26, 2025, at the age of 71 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Glenn was born on May 8, 1954, in Pensacola, Florida, to Kenneth and Evelyn (Mozingo) Waldon. He grew up in Oklahoma City and graduated from Capitol Hill High School. After high school, Glenn joined the United States Navy in 1972 and served until his honorable discharge in 1977. On October 4, 1980, Glenn married Michele Petrone, and they initially made their home in Florida before returning to Oklahoma. Glenn worked as a private investigator for several years before joining the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. He later accepted a position at the Dick Connors Correctional Facility in Hominy, from which he retired in 2017. Following his retirement, Glenn worked at the Tulsa Airport for the Tulsa Police Department.

Glenn is survived by his father, Kenneth Waldon; his two children, Kenneth Waldon and his wife, Lysa, and Christopher Waldon and his wife, Rayann Maddux; one brother, Ray Waldon; three grandsons, Patrick, Rowdy, and Michael; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Michele Waldon, and his mother, Evelyn Waldon.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at the Chapman-Black Funeral Home, with officiating services. Glenn and Michele will be placed in the columbarium at Fort Gibson National Cemetery at a later date. Chapman-Black Funeral Home will handle the arrangements.
