Richard Tyrone Washington, Sr. was born in Monroe, Louisiana, on December 26, 1978, to Henry and Joyce Ann Washington. He transitioned from his earthly home on April 5, 2023. He was a member of the COGIC in Epps, Louisiana, under the leadership of Elder Stevenson and later Elder Johnny Hedgeman.
Tyrone graduated from Delhi High Scholl in 1999. During his time there was a member of the football team. Growing up as a child, he loved to be around his favorite cousin, Latasha Washington. They did so much and so many things together, she was just like a sister to him. As he got older, in his spare time, he loved mowing yards with his dad, Henry, and washing cars. He loved to cook; he was the Bar B-Que master of the family.
He was a loyal fan of the San Fransisco 49ers. He really loved that team.
On May 22, 2011, he married Miasha Cleveland. To this union, they were blessed with two sons.
He leaves to cherish his memoriy: loving and devoted wife, Miasha Cleveland Washington; two sons, Tyvale Washington and Richard Washington, Jr.; mother, Joyce Ann Washington; father, Henry (Mary) Washington, Jr.; six grandkids, Khyleigh, Brooklynn, Kayden, Qwa'Nyias, Syriah, and Zanaya; one sister, Shantika (Mario) of Shaffer; three brothers, Henry Washington III, Tamarcus (Dershomanittro) Washington, and Cedric Washington; one step sister, Lavender Boykins; two stepbrothers, Kendrick Martin and Courtney Boykins; godmother, Gladys Yancy; godsister, DeKedria Turner; best friends, Rodrick Cleveland, Marcus Henderson, and Latasha Washington; and a host of godkids, nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Dorothy Washington, Mae Otis Washington; grandfather, Henry
Washington, Sr., Napoleon Marshall, and Willie Washington; and a stepson he reared, JaQuay Cleveland.
