Richard Whitworth Obituary
Richard was a graduate of Sulphur Springs High School. He loved to golf at Memorial Park and was a member of the Tri County Golf Club, Eagles Lodge in New Castle and the American Legion in Middletown. He loved spending time with family and played softball and coached basketball in his younger years.
He is survived by his sister, Josie Cox; 2 sons, Tim Whitworth and Tony Whitworth; grandchildren, Tiffany Holmes, Curtis Whitworth, Billy Ray Whitworth, Derek Whitworth and Braden Whitworth; 8 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Mary Whitworth; sisters, Jackie Morris and Wanda Hedges.
Services will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ballard and Sons Funeral Home in Middletown.
