Richard Shelby Yeck

Richard Shelby Yeck, age 60, passed away Thursday, October 17, 2024 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital in Columbus, OH. Richard was born February 19, 1964 in Columbus, OH to the late Bonnie and Louise (Wheeler) Yeck. Richard worked for Community Properties of Ohio as a Maintenance Technician. He loved to watch WWE, attend car shows, and fishing. He was a loyal Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Richard is also preceded in death by son, Brett Fowler; grandson, Randy Bowe III; and brother, David Yeck. Richard is survived by his wife of 32 years, Debra; children, Mike (Melissa) Fowler, Crystal (Roger) Bowe-Workman, Destiny (Derrick) Burroff, Melisa Hih, Randy Bowe, Tony Bowe, Donald Fraley; grandchildren, Jasmine (Austin), Taylor, A.J., Madison, Mercedez, Kara, Gabriella, Brettony, 'Lil Brett, Teazonya, Christina, Michael Jr., La'Raya, Allyssa, Mariah, Alliyah, Miyah, Ava, Benjamin, Aaliyah, Bree, Raiehlynn, Chicken, Armane, J.J., Chubby, and Alaya; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Nickie Eader, Bonnie Yeck, Connie Yeck, Gayle Yeck, and Ella "Chris" Yeck; special friends, Ed Scarberry; many nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will be Friday, October 25, 2024, from 4 p.m. until time of funeral service at 7 p.m. at the O.R. WOODYARD CO. South Chapel, 1346 S. High St. in Columbus, OH.
