Rick Combs, born on July 24, 1951, in Dayton, Ohio, passed away on September 29, 2025, at Kettering Medical Center after a brief illness. He was a valued member of the Germantown community, known for his quiet demeanor and steadfast dedication to his work as a welder at the Dupps Company in Germantown.
Rick received his education from Germantown High School, where he laid the foundation for a lifelong commitment to craftsmanship and integrity in his profession. Throughout his career, he was highly regarded among his colleagues for his skill and reliability. Rick was an avid fisherman and hunter, and was a member of the Germantown Eagles.
He is survived by his brother, Larry Combs, and three beloved grandchildren, who will cherish his memory. Rick was preceded in death by his loving parents, Lester and Clara Combs, his daughter Christa Combs, and his brothers Michael and Vincent Combs.
Rick will be remembered for his quiet strength and will be missed by all who knew him. According to Rick's wishes, there will not be any services.
