He is survived by his twin brother, Vick Dixon and his wife, Sylvia of Six Mile, SC and a sister, Langley Rooney and her husband, Dan of Youngsville, NC, and nieces and nephew, Taylor Cheek and husband, Will, Andy Rooney, Kathryn Gritter and husband, Dave and Ashton Dixon.
His interests included fly fishing, designing and creating lures and flies for fishing, automotive mechanics and racing, gun enthusiast, target shooting, design and built guns and an avid reader which led to his vast knowledge.
Rick's wishes were no memorial service, so please honor Rick in your own way.
