On Sunday, January 29, Dr. Rick B. Keller, a beloved husband and father, passed away at the age of seventy-four. Born to William H. and Evelyn Mae (Gemmill) Keller in Red Lion, PA, Rick was a retired teacher and school administrator with thirty-five years in school education. He was married to Cynthia (Mateer) Keller for twenty-seven years. He is survived by his wife, Cindy, his son, Andrew Keller, of York, PA, and his daughter, Amy S. Wilson married to John Wilson, of Chambersburg, PA. Also known as Pap, he is also survived by two loving grandchildren, Emma Grace Wilson, age 10, and Chase Deron Wilson, age 6.
Rick was a former member of the Pennsylvania Association of Secondary Education Principals and the National Association of Secondary Principals. He was a member of the Saint Paul United Methodist Church in Chambersburg, PA. Rick loved woodworking, hunting, fishing, traveling, and watching college football as well as his favorite TV shows.
Funeral services will be private for the immediate family. Family and friends are invited to the Keller home at 255 Audubon Court, Chambersburg, PA 17202 for lunch and conversation from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 4, 2023.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Rick's memory may be made to Magnolia of Chambersburg, Memory Care, 745 Norland Avenue, Chambersburg, PA 17201.
