Rickey Shields Obituary
Rickey was born January 19, 1961 in Maysville to the late John William and Alice Frances Smitson Shields. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending quality time with family and friends.
Survivors include his daughters Jennifer (Jessie) Ballard of Germantown, KY, Megan (Michael) Eckert of Maysville, and Heather Shields of Georgetown, KY; girlfriend, Becky Jones of Flemingsburg, KY and her son; 8 grandchildren; and several brothers and sisters.
In addition to his parents, Rickey is preceded in death by many siblings and a grandson, Zane Ballard.
Services for Rickey "Gary" Shields will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday January 8, 2024 at Brell & Son Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Germantown.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday.
Pallbearers will be Todd Shields, Jessie Ballard, Michael Eckert, Jack Sheilds, Bud Hamilton and George Kendall.
