Ricky Brown Sr. Obituary
Ricky Laine Brown Sr., age 66, of Star, passed away on November 22, 2025.
Mr. Brown was born on November 22, 1959, in Montgomery County to Clyde Brown and Rebecca Tucker. Ricky dedicated many years of his life working as an officer at the North Carolina Department of Corrections until his retirement. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #437.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Mandy Frye.
Ricky is survived by his wife Barbara Robinson Brown of the home; son Ricky Brown Jr. (Deloris Ann) of Star; mother Rebecca Tucker of Star; stepdaughters Christie Wilson of Kernersville; Jenny Terracciano (Pete) of Sunset Beach; stepson Harless Williams Jr. (Jessica) of Roxboro. As well as six grandchildren, five great grandchildren and fur babies, BB and Boo Boo.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery at 2:00 pm with Rev. Billy Reynolds officiating with Masonic rites. The family will receive friends at Phillips Funeral Home prior to the service from 12:30-1:30 pm.
