After graduating from Gunter High School, Ricky proudly served in the United States Air Force.
Ricky enjoyed baseball and football, and his hobbies, hunting and shooting clays. Ricky loved the outdoors and loved to cook on his smoker. Ricky especially loved being a GrandDude to River, his first grandchild.
Ricky is survived by his wife, Roxan; sons, Jared Burfield, and Michael Burfield (wife Sydney); two grandsons, River and Beckett; sister, Sabra Mason (husband Eddie); and a host of family members and friends, who will miss him dearly.
Ricky is preceded in death by his mother, Katherine (Jones) Anderson; father, James Burfield; and brothers, Jimmy Burfield, Jack Burfield, and Michael Burfield
A Memorial Service with full Military Honors will be held Saturday, July 13, 2024, at 11:00 AM, at East Fork Baptist Church, 2430 FM 546, McKinney, Texas 75069.
