Ricky Dale Roberts

Ricky Dale Roberts, 66, of Rushville, IL passed away at 3:25 p.m. on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at his residence. He was born on September 18, 1957 in Canton, IL a son of the late Rosell & Alda Bailey Roberts. He married Carman Ann Johnson on May 28, 1981. They were later divorced. He is survived by (2) sons; Clark Roberts (Michelle), Ryan Roberts (Amy) both of Louisiana, MO, (3) grandchildren; William Roberts, Emilee Booth, Joshua Booth, (1) brother; Gary (Bruce) Roberts of Cape Girardeau, MO. He was preceded in death by (1) brother; Thomas (Scooter) Roberts. Ricky graduated from Jackson High School in Jackson, MO and began working as a heavy equipment operator for Local 513 in St. Louis, MO. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 370 in Louisiana, MO. Ricky enjoyed fishing and in most recent years, spending time with his grandson. Cremation has been accorded. There will be no services. Memorials may be given to the donor's choice.
