Ricky Harrison Obituary

Born in Great Falls, SC, Ricky was raised in a close-knit family and later made Rock Hill his home, where he raised his children and ran his own business, Harrison Handyman Services. Known for his strong work ethic, kind heart, and gift for connecting with others, Ricky could talk to anyone and make them a friend.
He had a deep love for his family, fishing trips, time spent in the mountains, and for the Lord. Ricky had an uncanny ability to do anything he set his mind to - a true jack-of-all-trades whose legacy of hard work and devotion will live on in the lives of those who knew and loved him.
Ricky was preceded in death by his father Ralph Harrison, his mother Mary Louise Gregg, and his brothers Terry Harrison, Roger ("Snake") Harrison, and Leon Harrison.
He is survived by his sons Dean Harrison, Jamie Harrison (Misty), and Nick Harrison (Shannon), all of Rock Hill; his daughter Amanda Willard (Daniel) of Jacksonville, NC; his sister Anji Bowen (William) of Fort Lawn, SC; and his brother Paul Harrison (Lisa) of Kershaw, SC. Ricky also leaves behind 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, who will carry forward his love and stories.
A small family gathering to celebrate Ricky's life will be held at a later date.
He was loved by many and will be deeply missed.

My husband and I first met Rick shortly after we arrived in the United States from England in 1997. Even though I could barely understand his Southern drawl (lol), Rick was always happy and willing to help us out with various odd jobs in and around the house. Rick's friendly smile will be greatly missed.

Rick was a true friend and an excellent 'Jack of all trades'!
when my company transferred us to Rock Hill in 1997, Rick was one of the first locals I met, and we became fast friends.
