Ricky Herring Obituary
Benson, NC: Mr. Ricky Efferson Herring, age 64, passed away on Friday, August 20, 2021. A Memorial Service will be 6:00 PM-Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson, NC. Rev. Glenn McCullen will officiate.
Mr. Herring was born on November 12, 1956 in Harnett County, NC to Vibra Warren Herring of Dunn, NC and the late David Efferson Herring. He was the owner and operator of Herring Builders Inc. Mr. Herring loved fast cars, motorcycles and enjoyed life.
Survivors in addition to his mother include his wife of 44 years, Gloria Lambert Herring; son, Damion Herring and Karen of Benson, NC; grandchildren, Brayden, Cannon and Colby; sisters, Debra Thornton, Donna Barefoot and Amy Barefoot all of Dunn, NC; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends following the memorial service on Tuesday at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson, NC and other times at the home of Damion Herring 3766 NC HWY 50 S. Benson, NC 27504.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials to one’s favorite charity.
