Ricky Dean Schulte, “Rick” 51 of Sugar Hill, GA, peacefully passed away April 13, 2023,surrounded by his loving family by his side. Ricky was born in Omaha, NE. Mr. Schulte is a graduate of Iowa State University. He and his wife moved to Georgia for a new job opportunity in 1998. He was a very active member at St. Marguerite d’ Youville Catholic Church in Lawrenceville where he was a Lector, Eucharist Minister and even an altar server or usher if Father Doyle requested it! He was a sports enthusiast, football and baseball were his favorite sports. Growing up a Minnesota Vikings, and a MN Twins fan he would pull for his home team religiously. After his move to Georgia, he reluctantly became an Atlanta Braves fan as well. Ricky was a faithful member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Flowery Branch, GA.
Mr. Schulte is survived by his loving wife, Kim Schulte; daughter and son in-law, Kate & Eric Elliott, son, Cal Schulte; parents, Bob and Jan Schulte; brothers and sisters in-law, Doug and Angela Schulte, Mike and Sandra Schulte; several nieces and nephews.
A memorial gathering will be held Sunday, April 16, 2023, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a Catholic prayer vigil at 6:00 pm by Reverend Bill Donohue at Ingram Funeral Home.
The family will greet visitors at 9:00 am until the Mass will begin at 10:30 am Friday, April 21, 2023, at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Waukee, IA with Father Chinna officiating. Aninurnment will be held Saturday, April 22, 2023, at Breda Cemetery in Breda, IA.
The family would like to thank all the staff at Northside Forsyth for their care and compassion during the last five weeks.
Those wishing to donate in lieu of flowers please donate to St. Boniface Catholic Church.

Just found out about Rick, but really enjoyed working with him in the agriculture business. He was always so helpful, and had a funny side to him, even when he was trying to be forceful, but I always enjoyed talking to him and he will be missed.
