Ricky Edward Rone, 68, passed away too soon in Fort Worth, Texas, on August 10, 2025. He was born on August 22, 1956, to Wayne and Shirley (Bingham) Rone, in Gorman, Texas. After completing high school, on September 3, 1975, He married Gena Glasson.

Ricky worked hard for Birdsong Peanuts in the peanut mill for many years where he gained some lifelong friendships. He was selfless and always willing to help someone out. He was a volunteer firefighter for the Gorman Fire Department for 40 years where he obtained even greater friendships with fellow firemen. He absolutely loved to hunt, fish, and be outdoors.

Ricky is survived by his son, David Rone of Stephenville, his daughter Connie Fronterhouse and husband Jerry of Gorman, grandchildren, Colton, Justin, Raney, Ashin, Tallon and Lacey, and his brother Doyle Rone and his wife Jenny of De Leon.

Ricky is preceded in death by his wife, Gena Rone, and brothers, Kenneth Ray Rone, and Larry Rone, as well as his parents, Wayne and Shirley Rone.

A graveside service will be held in Ricky's honor on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at Simpson Cemetery, Kokomo, Texas, at 10:00 A.M.
