Ricky Gilbert Zill, age 69, passed away at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice on Saturday, October 25, 2025. He was born on February 21, 1956 to the late Elmer Sr. and Lorraine Zill. On September 5, 1998, he married the love of his life Sandy Kauger in Evergreen Park in Sheboygan, where they were joined by loved ones and insects alike.
Ricky was truly an automotive guy and enjoyed fixing vehicles and riding his motorcycle. His family remembers him as being able to fix anything. He loved watching Brewers and Packers at his home. He liked fishing and camping, catching carp and pan fish and just enjoying being outdoors. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He will be truly missed by all who knew him.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for the care and comfort they provided to Ricky and his family.
Ricky is survived by his wife Sandy, his sister Charlotte Nieland, his step-daughters Bernadette Bilgrein, RoxAnne Shulak, and Christine Rolkosky, his step-brothers Rick, Gerald, Roger and Gary Eigenberger and his nieces Lori Voigt, Shantell Randall, and Tanya Hernandez. He is further survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents Elmer Sr. and Lorraine Eigenberger, Ricky is preceded in death by his daughter Stephanie Zill, son Corey Zill, siblings Connie Justus and Elmer “Butch” Zill Jr.,and niece April Justus.
A memorial service celebrating Ricky’s life will be held at Ballhorn Chapels, 1201 N. 8th St., Sheboygan on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at 5:00 p.m., with Rick Eigenberger officiating. Relatives and friends may visit with the family from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

Burial will be private.
