Rina Julia (Grada) Edwards
December 1, 1949 – October 31, 2025
It is with profound sadness that the family of Rina Julia Edwards of Pittsburgh, PA announce her passing on October 31, 2025, at the age of 75. She touched everyone she met and always found room in her heart to love somebody new.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 42 years, Raymond Edwards, and her parents Bernard and Sarah Grada.
Her passing is mourned by her siblings Lynn Hannan (Paul), Dale Zecca and Bernardette Tarquinio (Bill), and her many cousins.
She will be greatly missed by her son Phil (Barbara) and daughter April.
While she loved all her family and friends, her greatest joys were her grandchildren Jessica Stehley (Norman Griest), Matthew Stehley, Sydney Stehley (Nick Rodman), Sydney Edwards, Sarah Gyurky, Ella Gyurky and Marina Gyurky, and her great-grandchildren Quinn Griest, Calen Griest and Nico Rodman.
Family and friends will be received Tuesday, November 4, 2025 from 2:00pm-4:00pm and from 6:00pm-8:00pm at SIMONS FUNERAL HOME, 7720 Perry Highway, Pittsburgh, PA 15237.
Funeral mass will be at 11:00am at St. John Neumann Church followed by a service at the Temple of Memories Mausoleum at Allegheny Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, her family asks that contributions be made in her name to St. Anthony's Guild or the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank.
