Rita Bachand Obituary

Rita was born to Donat and Clemence Lalemand Blanchette on June 18, 1936. She will be deeply missed by her children, 10 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 3 Fur grand babies.
She was a very strong independent woman who shared her love and spunk unconditionally with all who knew her. We will remember her as a woman who had the least and gave the most.
She is predeceased by her son Michael Bachand.
She survived by her daughters Jo-Ann Brown, Susan Mansfield and her husband Stephen, Sylvia Bachand, Claudette St. John and her husband Berry Paul, and her son Patrick Bachand.
The family would like to thank all the staff and residents at The Lodges and Affinity Hospice for playing along with Rita's shenanigans and for loving and comforting not only her but her entire family through this very difficult time. In keeping with her tradition of giving, she has donated her body to U.N.E. for medical research.
