Rita David Obituary
She was born May 18, 1961, in Morganza, Louisiana, to Nolan Allement and Marie Aldridge Allement.
Rita is preceded in death by her parents; her daughter Melissa David Buteaux; father in law Roland David Sr., mother in law Ida M. David; and brothers in law Milton J. David, John Randy David Sr., Kennon J. David, and Freddie McTyre Sr.
Rita is survived by her husband of 47 years, Henry J. David and fur baby "Sha"; one daughter Angel Covey; three grandsons Creed David and Abagail, Easton Buteaux, and Jamie Covey; one great grand daughter Emery Collins David; three sisters Becky Reine and husband Bobby, Mitzi Chiasson and husband Tony, and Sheila McTyre; sister in laws Penny Parker and husband Lamar, Gertrude (Lala) Chaney and husband Troy, and Kay Waller; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation is Saturday April 4, 2026 at Brown Funeral Home in Gloster, MS. from 10:00 A.M. until time of funeral services at 12:00 P.M. at the funeral home, officiated by Rev. Warren Whitaker. Graveside will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Woodville, MS.
Pallbearers are Shane Buteaux, Easton Buteaux, Creed David, Stacy Zion, James Ward, and Lamar Parker.
