Rita Rae Julian

Rita Rae Julian, age 88, of Kingsford, Michigan, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Born on September 12, 1936, she was the beloved daughter of Rae and Sarah O'Connor. Rita lived a life full of grace, kindness, and unwavering devotion to God, her family, and friends. She married Dean Juilan on November 26, 1955, and together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. She was a proud mother to Janeé Mosca, Doreen Bellmore, Allan Julian, Kevin Julian (deceased), and Brian Julian, and a treasured grandmother to many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in her heart. Rita will be remembered for her faith, warmth, compassion, and love for her children. She also had a love for rummage sales and a gift for restoring antiques and furniture. She touched countless lives and brought light and joy to those around her. She is survived by many children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, son, and siblings. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Maranatha Assembly of God Church. Visitation will take place from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m., followed by the service at 11:00 a.m. Friends and family are invited to gather in remembrance and celebration of her life.
