Rob Jordan

On Tuesday, July 23, 2024, loving Husband, Father and Papa, Robert (Rob) Jordan passed away at the age of 58. His historical information as recanted by his wife, Cynthia goes as follows:
"He was from New Jersey, and a part of him never left. He joined the Air Force when he was 18 and served during times of conflict. He retired as a MSgt after 21 years. He would joke that the first place they stationed him was Tinker Air Force Base. He traveled to different parts of the world to serve, but Oklahoma was his home during the entire 21 years. After the military he was an aircraft mechanic at Tinker AFB, and a Quality Manager at NewView, a facility that empowers the blind.
He loved having the grandchildren camp out for long weekends at home, teaching them how to fish and watching them grow and learn.
He worked for the Boeing company where he made my heart flip when I first saw him. We didn't actually meet until years later. We went as a group to see Alice Cooper and walked away holding hands.
He loved to travel, visit historical sites, the snow, reading (2 books at a time), music (anything but country), NPK racing and Eagles football. Oh, and donkeys. He was like a little kid for donkeys.
He had many fur and feathered babies. He didn't have enough and planned for more. He was working on the fencing on our property for donkeys, goats, and goodness who knows. He even talked about an Emu. His phone is full of pictures of his animals.
There are so many things to say but right now I have no more words. Please celebrate his life by contributing in his name to any Veterans charity. He was a huge supporter himself.

Rob is survived by his wife Cynthia, daughter Angela Kimble and her husband Chris, daughter Courtney Carter and her husband Logan, daughter Heather Jordan, stepson Ryan Newman and his wife Amanda, step daughter Michelle White and her husband Tony. He has 10 beautiful grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
