Mr. Robb Cassity, age 56, of Franklin, KY, passed away on Friday, December 22, 2023 at 9:20 AM at his residence.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 from 6:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Funeral services will be held the same day, Wednesday, December 27th at 1:00 PM with interment to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY.
Robb was born on December 17, 1967 in Bowling Green, KY to the late Bobby Cassity and Jo Carolyn Cassity, who survives. He is also preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Louis and Mary Lou Bayles and his paternal grandparents, Oakley and Edith Cassity.
He is not only survived by his mother, Jo Carolyn Cassity of Franklin, KY, but also a brother, Todd Cassity (Julie) of Franklin, KY; a niece, Alexis Cassity of Franklin, KY; aunts and uncles, Kenneth Bayles (Vickie), Susie Doss (Steve), Donnie Cassity (Linda), Faye Forshee, Harold Cassity, Linda Link (Teddy); several cousins; and special caretaker, Linda Shines.
Robb was a 1987 graduate of Franklin-Simpson High School. He worked for McDonald’s, Wal-Mart and Sealed Power. Robb was a member of House of Prayer Church in Franklin, KY. He loved to watch Price is Right, wrestling and thriller movies. Robb was an avid UK sports fan.
