Beloved wife, mother, sister and friend, RobbaLee Johnson of Layton passed into the loving arms of our Heavenly Father on March 5, 2025, at the age of 68.
She was born on August 11, 1956, to Norman Donald and Jeannine Coombs Sullivan. She was the second of 4 children and spent her childhood in Kaysville. She was a graduate of Davis High School Class of 1975. She also attended Weber State (College) University. She married Edward Stephen Johnson in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on November 4th 1977. They lived in Kaysville, Preston, ID and Richmond Utah before spending the last 41 years in Layton. Stephen and RobbaLee were blessed with four children, Joshua Stephen (Selma), Kristi Lee, Heather Julia and Nicholas Edward. She has 6 grandchildren.
RobbaLee was a life-long member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in various callings in the Relief Society and Primary. Her favorite calling was Primary Chorister, where she was able to teach the children beautiful music.
She worked for Dee’s drive -in restaurant, Hinckley Dodge, the Salt Lake LDS Distribution Center and then spent the last 35 years working as a customer service representative for the IRS. She loved crafting, making scrapbooks, and quilting with her daughters. She enjoyed attending anything that her children were involved in; from sports to plays and anything in between.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, her 4 children, 6 grandchildren, her sister Kathy (Terry) and brothers Tim (Teri) and Jeff (Kimbra). She was preceded in death by her parents, mother and father-in-law, a sister in-law, and her grandparents.
Since her passing, multiple people have commented about how kind she always was to them.
Funeral services will be held Saturday March 15, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the Park West Ward Chapel, 2160 W. Gordon Ave., Layton, Utah. Family and friends may visit Friday March 14 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Rd., Layton, Utah and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church prior to the service.
Interment will be at the Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton, Layton, Utah.
