Robert "Bobby" Adams

Bobby, a resident of Holden, LA, joined his wife in Heaven Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at the age of 85. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Known for his big heart, steady hands, and unwavering work ethic, he was a man who could build or fix just about anything-and often did for anyone who needed help. He loved the simple joys in life: spending time with his family, being out on his tractor, and the occasional trip to the casino. Bobby was a true family man and loved being surrounded by all his grandbabies. He genuinely was one of the best men you could ever meet, and he left an impact on so many. Bobby will be forever missed.
He is survived by his son, Derek Adams Sr. (Cindy); brothers-in-law, Danny Pierson (Tina), Larry Pierson (Trisha); grandchildren, Heather Buffington (Adam), Derek Adams Jr. (Shelby), Tyler Adams (Whitney); and great-grandchildren, Aiden, Alex, Amelia, Harper, Charlotte, Maverick, Stetson, and baby Hudson on the way.
Bobby was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Pierson Adams; parents, Myrtle and Charles Adams; brothers, Larry and Nathan Adams; sister, Mary Ann Adams; and sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Gary Wilcox.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home at 12012 Hwy 190 W Hammond, LA 70401 on Saturday, May 24, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow in James Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery.
