After serving in the United States Navy, Moe hung up his sailors hat and picked up a hard hat to work at Bethlehem Steel, then following his passion for home remodeling.
Moe's love story with the late Sharon M (Bogdon) Adler was the kind of love that belonged in a romantic comedy. He spotted the love of his life when she was just 18, and the rest was history. Together, they proved that love, laughter and a Budweiser could conquer anything. Sharon's passing in 2018 left Moe with a broken heart, but we know they are together once again.
Moe's proudest legacy is the family he leaves behind: Daughters Laura Adler, Judy Adler (John Biviano) and son Bob Adler (Kelly); grandchildren; Brandon, Brittney, Justin, Austin, and Jade, and his great grandchildren; Braxton, Mackenzie and Adaliene. He leaves behind his siblings, Irene Bilski, Linda Young (Tom), and Bud Adler. Moe was predeceased by his loving sisters June, Mabel, and brother Jack.
Moe loved watching High School Sports, NASCAR and playing darts in the Bethlehem City Dart League. Focusing on the all - important beer frame (5th inning)! Moe and Sharon were lifetime members of the BVFHA. Moe's life was a reminder that the best things in life aren't measured in dollars, but in family and friends. As we say goodbye to Moe, we know in our hearts, he will be forever in eternity with the love of his life Sharon.
Services: A Celebration of Life honoring Moe and Sharon's incredible legacy will be held on Monday, December 2, 2024 at 7 P.M. at Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street, Bethlehem, PA. 18018. The family will welcome relatives and friends beginning at 5 P.M. until the time of service. The evening will conclude with a heartfelt toast in their memory. Bob, you failed to make your battle stations during general quarters. You are now relieved from your watch. A job well done fellow navy veteran. The final battle is now over and peace has been restored. America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom. The carrier has turned into the wind preparing for your final departure. The final volley has sounded and taps is about to sound ending a successful career as a nation´s defender. Smooth sailing shipmate.
