David Donchez

David Donchez Sr., known affectionately by friends and family as Dave, passed away at his residence in Germansville, PA, on June 24, 2025, at the age of 65. Born on July 21, 1959, in Bethlehem, PA. Dave is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Kelly Lynn Donchez, with whom he built a beautiful and enduring partnership. Together, they raised three children: Amber Lynn Donchez (her significant other, Mike McClure), Katie Lynn Donchez and David Donchez Jr. He was a cherished grandfather to Lily McGonagle, who brought him immense pride and happiness. Dave also leaves behind his siblings, Jim Donchez and Mary Jo Kuebler. Dave will be fondly remembered by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Donchez and Kathryn (Cassidy) Donchez, and siblings Joesph Donchez Jr. and Deborah Stetch. Dave's early education was rooted in his hometown, where he attended St. Joe's Catholic School until the 9th grade. He later graduated from Salisbury High School and went on to build a career in concrete finishing which he took great pride in. Unfortunately, a car accident in 1992 would disable him from resuming that career. An avid fisherman, he found peace and solace in the tranquility of nature. He was a life-long fan of the Philadelphia Eagles/Phillies, and game days were always a special occasion in the Donchez household. Additionally, his affection for his dogs was a testament to his warm and caring nature. His spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him, and his stories will continue to inspire and comfort us in the days to come.
