Robert W. Alexander Jr. “Bob” of Waukesha passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2025 with his beloved wife by his side at the age of 83. He was born in Fort Benning, Georgia on April 1, 1942 the son of Robert Alexander Sr. and Mary (nee Gagliano) Alexander. Bob worked for Waukesha Engine and then for many years at GE Medical. He had a passion for cars and loved attending car shows with his grand-nephew, Alex. Bob was incredibly kind and generous and never had a bad word to say about anyone. He was loved by all he met and will be deeply missed.
He was a great husband and best friend to his loving wife of 55 years, Sally Alexander (nee Bancroft); brother to Pamela (Kenneth) Zettelmeier, John (Cindy) Alexander and David (Dagmar) Alexander; and special brother-in-law to Lance (Sandy) Bancroft. He will also be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews, especially his dear grand-nephew Alexander Stuessy.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until the memorial service begins at 11:00 a.m., at Ascension Lutheran Church, located at 1415 Dopp Street, Waukesha, WI 53188. A reception will follow the service.
