Ronald John May, Age 73, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, September 7, 2025 with his family by his side. He was born in Hartland on November 3,1951. Ron grew up in Hartland with his mother Dorothy and sister Judy. Later in life, Ron met his loving wife, Jill (nee: Mielke) and went on to raise three wonderful children Andrea (Joshua) Davenport, Lindsey May (Tyler Keniston), and Aaron (Brittany) May. He was a proud grandfather to Alana Davenport, Thomas Davenport, Silas Keniston, Violet May, and Reya Keniston.
In addition to a family man, Ron was an avid sports enthusiast for his Wisconsin home teams: the Brewers and the Packers. The evening of Ron’s passing, the family felt comforted by the Brewer’s victory knowing he would be joyed.
Memorials in Ron’s name are suggested to Humane Animal Welfare Society (HAWS), 701 Northview Road Waukesha, WI 53188 or to the Waukesha Food Pantry, 1301 Sentry Drive Waukesha, WI 53186. Ron was a life-long animal lover and in addition to spoiling his family dogs, he contributed to several animal rescue efforts.
A private family remembrance will be held this Spring.
