ROBERT L. ASHWORTH, age 71; beloved husband of Terry (nee Murray) for 48 years; loving father of Patricia Parianos (Steven), Angel Sanovich (Louis, deceased) and Mary Ashworth (Peter Sanovich); devoted papa of Isaiah (Jessica), Ryan, Alex, Bobby, Ariana, Evelyn and Marypat; great-grandpapa of Levi; son of the late Denver and Jamimia Ashworth; brother of Denver Ashworth (Betty, deceased), Delores Davis (Vance, deceased), Norma McCarthy (Frank, deceased), Linda Frame (deceased) (Marvin), Donna Ashworth, James Ashworth (deceased) (Alice) and Markeita Clark (deceased). Bob enjoyed tinkering in his garage with older automobiles, transforming them into hot rods, attending car shows, and chatting about cars. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his three daughters, being a grandfather, and being fortunate enough to be a great-papa. He was a knowledgeable craftsman who always made the family home a lovely place to live.Bob was always willing to assist anyone who needed it. He would help in the repair of a flat, the maintenance or remodeling of a home, and the support of many people suffering from addiction. Over the years, he was a great father figure to many children and young adults. He had a big heart and was very giving with his time. Graveside service at Holy Cross Cemetery, Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at 2:30 p.m.
