Bob was a kind and faithful soul. He took the time to teach me when I was in the R.C.I.A. program at St. James church.

He taught my freshman English class at Cardinal Spellman H.S. It was my favorite class, and I have many, many fond memories of the class even though it was in the 1966-67 school year.

May he rest in peace. Mr. Baisley was the first faculty member that I met at CSHS in the summer of 1965 as he was my freshman track coach. I can still remember taking the subway after school that winter to the Armory in upper Manhattan for track practice and having conversations on various topics.

Mr. B was my sophomore English teacher...he opened my eyes to so many different ideas and works, more than I could ever thank him for. Rest well and thank you. CSHS `70

Bob Baisley shaped so many of our lives at Cardinal Spellman HS. He of course was always on us for our long hair, but he taught me so many values and morals that I still live by. He influenced my life and sure many others. I was so sad to hear the news. Prayers and condolences go out to his family. May he rest in peace

It is with great sadness that we hear the news of Mr. Baisley's passing. He was an integral part of the Spellman Community. Always after my husband for his"too long hair."
Our condolences to his family. May he rest in peace.
With fond memories...
