Bobby was a like a brother to me for all the time I spent at their home and going with him to jobs and even running some of his heavy equipment. He gave me his 1955 Oliver Super 88 so I could restore it. It has been a slow process. A few days before the accident I told him I hadn't finished it yet and he said I don't guess I will get my garden plowed this year. He was always calm and kind. He and Grace moved our family to Florida in 1957.
We all will miss him but our memories of him will never be forgotten.

He was the strongest man most of us ever knew, coupled with an unusually gentle character and wit. He will be greatly missed.
