Robert W Baker ”Bob” 85 of Longwood FL passed away peacefully entering into his heavenly home on February 10,2026. Born in Holland Michigan on November 27,1940 to Bud and Henrietta Baker. He was a loving, kind, generous, and caring husband, brother, dad, grandpa, and great grandpa.
He is survived by his loving wife Shirley of 65 years; his sister Judy and Jim Weaver of Pensacola FL; his children and their spouses, Barbara and Tom Plaggemars of Monroe GA, Jodi and Paul Lindstrom of Longwood FL, and Rob Baker of Longwood FL; his 4 grandchildren and their spouses, Jenny and Andy Smith of Monroe GA, Emily and Robert Whitehurst of Myrtle Beach SC, Aimee and John Genereux of Lexington SC, and David and Kayla Lindstrom of Apopka FL. He has been blessed with 4 great grandchildren and 2 more on the way as well as cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Bob started his career as a salesman at Sears and Robuck Co.in multiple departments. He then worked at Hart and Cooley in sales for over 35 years. His career provided him with opportunities to live in various parts of the US. He and his family were active attendees of Neighborhood Alliance Church of Longwood, FL for many years. He was well loved and enjoyed special time with his family and friends. He was a friend to everyone he met.
No service is being planned at this time. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to be made to Advent Health Hospice of Orlando.
