Robert Lee Barish

Age 79, of South Fayette, peacefully passed away at his home on Sunday, September 1, 2024 with his family by his side. Beloved husband of Rose Marie Barish for 49 years; loving father of Dean (the late Kelly Lea) Barish, Crystal (John) Davis, and Robin (Eric) Wadsworth; caring Pap of John Douglas Kaine, Michael Allan Stetzer, Corey Lee Barish, Connor Jacob Davis, Ashlyn Grace Davis, Mia Rose Wadsworth, and Lainey Sue Wadsworth. Robert was one of nine children, he is survived by four siblings, Jean Bish, Lucille Donella, Mary Ann Dibacco, and Edward Barish. Robert is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Robert served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He worked for the South Fayette Public Works for over 25 years, retiring as Supervisor. On his way to a Steeler's game, he enjoyed a good Peppi's Hoagie. Robert was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates Fan. Always watching the baseball games with his wife, Rose. Most of all, Robert was an outdoorsman, loving to hunt and fish, and when he wasn't hunting or fishing, he could always be found cutting the grass and doing yard work. He will forever be missed and loved and never forgotten. Funeral arrangements by BEINHAUERS. Friends and Family are welcome at 430 Washington Ave., Bridgeville, 412-221-3800 on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, 6-8PM, where a blessing service will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2024, 9AM. Interment to follow at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies with the rendering of military honors.
