Robert Eugene Barnhart, Sr. was born on May 27, 1940, to Myrtle Mae Vance Barnhart and Archie Barnhart, Sr. in Uniontown, PA. Robert (Bob) attended Uniontown High School, where he graduated in 1959. Following graduation, he was employed in the financial field including at Fayette Bank in Uniontown, PA for 7 years, CTC in Pittsburgh, PA, First National Bank and Trust Company in Washington, PA as manager of American General Life Insurance Company and a local cable company in Uniontown, PA.

Bob was predeceased by siblings Betty Barnhart Guseman, Archie David Barnhart, and Beverly Barnhart David.

Bob is survived by the love of his life, Joyce Ann Yowler Barnhart; his beloved son, Robert E. Barnhart, Jr.; Rob's wife, Stacy Neal Barnhart; and cherished grandchildren, Bryn Alysa Barnhart and Vance Robert Barnhart.

Bob was a devoted husband to Joyce for over 61 years. He took every opportunity to remind Joyce how lucky he was to share his life with her.

He was an exceptional father to Rob. Words cannot adequately capture the enormity of his love and pride for his son. He shared a beautiful bond with daughter-in-law, Stacy. He always welcomed her company and was appreciative of her caring ways.

Becoming a Granddad to Bryn and Vance brought him incredible joy. Each of the children manifests distinct qualities that resemble those of their granddad. The unique bond with each of them provided him with boundless joy and happiness, with the assurance that they would keep him ever present.

He leaves an absence at the table but will be forever present in our hearts. Our memories will sustain us.
