Publish in a newspaper

Kevin Paul Connors, 64, was called home to the Lord on August 29, 2025, after a long, brave battle with cancer.
Kevin was a loving husband to his wife, Stephanie, and a devoted father to Michael and Abigail. Kevin is survived by his three siblings, J. Timothy Connors (Tanya), Karen Connors, and Paul Connors; nephew, James (Honey) Connors; niece, Kristen (Patrick Finnell); and great nephew, Connor Finnell. Kevin is also survived by his uncle, Eugene; aunts, Maura Connors and Helen Corscaddan; and many extended family members. Kevin was predeceased by his mother, Ann (Connolly) Connors; his father, James F. Connors; and his brother-in-law, James Connors.
Kevin graduated Sharon High School in 1979. He went on to pursue his education at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. While attending UMass, Kevin played his favorite team sport, Rugby. Kevin loved playing Rugby and pursued it with the same dedication and passion that he brought to every part of his life, especially his family and friends. He was a selfless teammate and a natural leader who led by example. As a key member of the UMass team, he helped win the New England Collegiate Tournament and the Northeast Collegiate Championship, advancing to the Eastern Collegiate Tournament throughout the years 1981 – 1983. Those who played alongside him knew he always had their back. Elected captain by his peers, Kevin, along with his teammates, was inducted into the UMass Rugby Hall of Fame.
In 2002, Kevin graduated with his Masters in Architecture from University of South Florida. He worked as a Project Architect for several prestigious firms in Florida before opening his own firm, Connors Design Group, in 2007. Kevin designed numerous commercial and residential projects throughout Florida, specializing in restaurants, veterinary centers, rehabilitation centers, schools, churches, offices and so much more. He served his clients and community the highest standards of creativity and professionalism.
Kevin loved fishing, skiing, boating, racing, concerts, campfires, any Boston Sport, and all kinds of music, especially Bruce Springsteen. Kevin loved worshipping at his family's home church, Lord of Life Lutheran, in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL.
Kevin and his wife, Stephanie, shared a special and rekindled love story. Kevin's heart was being a father to Michael and Abigail. Kevin loved watching his talented children perform, Michael in Music, Abigail in Ballet. He loved the family dog, Bindi; and cat, Tuxedo. They were constant companions during his cancer journey. Mostly, Kevin loved spending time with his family at home in sunny Florida or at his favorite spot, Sebago Lake, Maine.
No words can express what an impact Kevin made on lives. He will be truly and forever missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, 9/20/25, at 2 pm, at the Riverview Club in St. Augustine, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lord of Life Lutheran Church's Building Fund in Kevin's memory.
