Robert Barniak Obituary
Robert Barniak, age 88, passed away Friday, Jan. 13, 2023.
Beloved husband of nearly 48 years to Linda (nee Koehler, deceased); loving father of Bonnie Gregersen (Peter) and Rebekah Marks (John "Andy"); dearest grandfather of Holly and Kendra Gregersen, Daniel Marks, Madeline Hite (Steven), Alison, Erika, Joseph, Elijah (deceased), and Jennifer Marks; great-grandfather of Rebecka Hite; dearest brother of Mary Louise Caetta and uncle of Elizabeth Kylin, Jennifer Bevan, and Roger Kylin (Jennifer).
In addition to his wife and grandson, he was also preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Mary (nee Bittner) Barniak.
Robert retired from the U.S. Postal Service where he had worked as a postal clerk. He loved animals, chess, classical music, the Browns, and all things history.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, Jan. 19, 2023, at 7:00pm at Busch Funeral Home, 7501 Ridge Rd., Parma, OH 44129 where family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00pm until the time of the service. Private interment will be at Woodvale Cemetery, Middleburg Hts., OH.
