Robert Ward Beauchamp, 84, of Palm City, Florida, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family.
Born on November 24, 1940, to Robert and Verna Beauchamp, Bob spent most of his life rooted in the community of Wabash, Indiana, a town he cherished deeply. He dedicated over 50 years of his career to the family insurance agency, building a successful business and lasting friendships.
Bob shared a 59-year marriage with his wife, Sharon. He was a proud and devoted father to his two sons, Evan (Jen) and Andrew (Kelly), and found joy in his four grandchildren: Grace, Holtz, Kelsie, and Jason, who brought him pride and happiness.
Bob was fortunate to work with his brother, Michael, who survives.
An avid photographer, Bob had a remarkable ability to capture the quiet beauty of the world around him. His love of photography paired perfectly with another of his great passions: traveling the world with Sharon. Together they explored countless destinations, collecting memories, friendships and photographs along the way.
Those who knew Bob will remember his steady presence, warm heart and quiet wisdom. He was a man of deep integrity and genuine compassion. His legacy lives on in the family he loved, the community he served and the beautiful photographs that tell the story of life well lived.
A private family service will be held, with a celebration of life planned at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Bob's memory to a local charity of your choice or the Community Foundation of Wabash County.

As a young boy eating dinner at the Beauchamp house the main course was BBQ bone in chicken breast. The Beauchamps were digging in with knives and forks I was raised by Frank Maxwell more a pick it up and eat with fingers kind of guy. Bob could tell I was struggling with what to do. He grabbed his chicken fingers first and dug in. Bob had many outstanding qualities but my favorite was to make people feel welcome and at home in any environment whether he had known them for a while or just met them. Big hugs to all Beauchamps and extended family.

Bob was such a steadfast force at our up north Camelot called Hemingway. And not only for us but our entire family and friend network. My grandkids got to know Bob and "piper" over the years and "always" enjoyed and were encouraged my him. And I always cherished our "encounters" be it at a bonfire, the marina or just on the paths of Hemingway. Bob was always upbeat on life and insisted on talking about others above self. Bob was a great man including family, friends and community. I was blessed for the years of interface with Bob. He will be missed AND celebrated. My prayers for Sharon and family as they celebrate and mourn.
