Robert Becsey Jr. passed away at the age of 71 on October 10, 2025. He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Becsey of Martinez, Georgia; his son, Robert Becsey III of Phoenix, Arizona; his granddaughter, Anslee Becsey of Martinez, Georgia; his brother, David Becsey of Indianapolis, Indiana; and his loyal companion, his “little warrior,” Stryker.
Robert dedicated his life to his children, his country, and his faith. He proudly served over 30 years in public service in various capacities, including—but not limited to—the United States Marine Corps, the U.S. Army, and both local and federal law enforcement.
A man of integrity, strength, and compassion, Robert found true fulfillment in service to others. His passion for training dogs brought him great joy throughout his life and exemplified his belief that when you love what you do, you “never work a day in your life.”
His legacy of dedication, honor, and love will continue to live on through his family, friends, and all who were fortunate to know him.
Family will receive friends on Friday October 17, 2025, from 2-4 pm @ Fairhaven Funeral Home 3507 Wrightsboro Rd. Augusta, GA. 30909 .
