Robert E. "Robby" Bergdorf, 40, passed away unexpectedly September 30, 2025. Born in Akron, Ohio to Scot Bergdorf and Janet Jarvis, he resided in the Akron/Massillon area all of his life. Robby worked at Edward C. Levy as a scrap cutter and belonged to Local 18. Always the life of the party, Robby enjoyed playing video games and spending time with his family and friends.
Robby was preceded in death by his step-mother, Connie Bergdorf; uncle, Donnie; cousin, Dustin; grandparents on both sides. He will be sadly missed by his children, Little Robby, Logan; parents, Scot Bergdorf, Janet Jarvis; siblings, Scot (Courtney) Bergdorf, Amanda (Keith) Matthews, Timmy Scheck, Shannen Bergdorf; close friend, Josh; many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
Everyone is welcome to visit Friday, October 10, 2025 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. The memorial service will follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Robby's name to Little Robby.
