Richard Danford Obituary
Richard L. "Dick" Danford, passed away on October 2, 2025 from Pancreatic Cancer. He was proceeded in death by his wife Julie of 42 years and Molly (his best friend). He leaves step-children Fonda Pitingoro (Michael), Lynn Milburn (Larry), and Teri Rinehard (Tim); and other relatives and friends. He worked for Danner Press of Akron and Canton for over 41 years. He was an Army Veteran of Vietnam and a 60 year member of American Legion Post 389 of Beverly and Waterford, Ohio. He was a member of Moose Lodge in Mogadore for 32 years. Dick was an avid motorcyclist his entire life even racing some pro events in his younger days.
Calling hours are Wednesday 2-4 PM, October 8th, at Newcomer Funeral Home. Burial services are at Waterford Cemetery on Thursday 12:00 noon October 9th.
