ROBERT BERTRAND Obituary
WARE: Robert J. Bertrand, 73, of Shoreline Drive, died on January 1, 2023, at his home.
He is survived by is his wife of 48 years Linda (Cournoyer) Bertrand; his son Robert Bertrand and his wife of Burlington, CT; brother David Bertrand of Southbridge; sisters Beverly Pratt of Southbridge, Judith Bertrand of Southbridge; 5 grandchildren Makayla, Makenna, Madison, Nathan, Luke.
Born in Palmer son to the late Wilfred and Viola (Winot) Bertrand Szuimilas. He was predeceased by his brothers Wilfred, Ronald, William and Lawrence.
He was employed by A&M Tool and Die Co. for 40 years and also worked at Southbridge Tool.
He was a member of Central Baptist Church in Southbridge.
Bob’s hobbies were fishing, archery, and playing his bass guitar. His passion in life was riding and restoring motorcycles.
He was an active member of the Springfield Motorcycle Club, and the Rhode Island Trials Club.
Calling hours will be held on Monday January 9th from 4-6PM followed by a service at 6PM in the Belanger Bullard Funeral Home, 51 Marcy St. Southbridge, MA 01550.
