Robert "Bob" Anthony Bienek, 70, passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, in San Antonio, TX.
A visitation will be held on Monday, November 18, 2024, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Dellcrest Funeral Home, 2023 W.W. White Road, San Antonio, TX 78222. The rosary will begin at 6:00 PM. A funeral mass will be held Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 14011 FM 1346 St. Hedwig, TX 78152. Interment will follow at Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Cemetery.
Bob was born on December 18, 1953, in San Antonio, TX to the late Anthony R. Bienek and Lucille Dylla Bienek. In high school he enjoyed playing football and baseball and was an avid golfer who loved the outdoors. He also enjoyed trips to the casino playing slots and cards. Bob worked for over 38 years in the transportation industry. His love of the outdoors followed him into adulthood where he enjoyed fishing, hunting and barbecuing with friends and family. Bob was a member of the Catholic church and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Bob is survived by his siblings, Jimmy Bienek, Rosemary Bienek, Betty Bienek Jenschke (Bryan); nieces, Ashley Jenschke, Lindsey Jenschke Dusablon (Rich), Shannon Bienek Spencer (Clint); nephew, James Bienek Jr; great nieces, Hailey Spencer, Autumn Bienek, Hannah Spencer, Riley Spencer; numerous extended family and dear friends.
