Robert L. Bisi

Robert L. Bisi, (Bob) 82, of Beaufort, South Carolina and formerly of Glastonbury and East Hampton, CT passed away on August 18, 2023 at home. Robert was born on April 17, 1941, the son of the late Louis Joseph Bisi and Mary Carini Bisi. He was predeceased by his wife, Lynne Dexter Bisi in 2008. He leaves his sister, Nancy B. Allison of South Windsor, CT and his brother Kenneth Bisi of Northville, NY, his nephew Brian Brennan and his wife Luisa of Monson MA and his niece Kelly Brennan and her partner Tom Gundlock of Dana Point, CA. Robert was a 1959 graduate of Glastonbury High School and served in the Army reserves. He was employed at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft, spent many years at UPS and retired from DHL. He was a member of Teamsters Local 671, Corvettes Limited of CT, National Corvette Restorers Society, and Glastonbury BPOE #2202. Lynne and Robert enjoyed boating, Corvette rallies, and attending events at the Elks. He was proud of his pristine 1976 Corvette which he drove until his passing. Robert was a communicant of St. Augustine's in South Glastonbury until his move to Beaufort in 2017 where he was a communicant of St. Peters. Robert and Lynne were animal lovers, rescuing many dogs during their lifetimes, including his latest, Sweet Pea. His family would like to thank his neighbors, Betty & George Angelo for their compassion and care of our brother while in South Carolina. At any gathering Bob could be found at the center of it all - telling jokes - many of them off color. His most quoted phrase: old age isn't for sissies. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, October 9 at 10am in SS Isidore and Maria Paricsh at St. Augustine Church, 55 Hopewell Rd., South Glastonbury.
