Robert “Bob” Irvin Manry, 78, of Warner Robins, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2025. Born on December 26, 1946, Bob was the son of the late Henry Irvin Manry, Jr. and Ann Laura Walls Manry.

A proud graduate of the first class of Northside High School in 1965, Bob went on to attend Georgia Southern University. He served his country with honor for six years in the U.S. Army, as a member of the 101st Airborne Division. After his military career, he spent over 34 years as a General Foreman at Norfolk Southern before retiring.

Bob was an avid fisherman and a founding member of the Taylor Creek Hunting Club. He was also an active member of New Life Baptist Church and was previously involved with the Bonaire Georgia Chapter of the Jaycees. Bob found immense joy in spending time with his family, particularly his grandchildren. He also enjoyed vacationing, especially to Daytona Beach, Florida, a place that held a special spot in his heart.

His memory will forever be treasured by his wife of 40 years, Glenda Marie Ford Manry; children, Ned Manry (Emily) and Alison Manry Luttrell; grandchildren, Chloe and Bella Manry, and Griffin, Gray, Lucy, and Greer Luttrell; as well as his sister, Shelby Manry Hewett (Charles), and several other beloved extended family members and friends.

At the family’s request, all services held will be private.
