Robert J. July 29, 2024. Beloved husband of Carol (nee Coletti). Father of Gina (Michael) Valenta and Maria (Martin) Maiorano. Pop of Olivia and Michael Jr. Brother of Charles (the late Patricia) Borda, and Bill (Jane) Borda. Relatives and friends are invited to his VIEWING Friday August 2, 2024 9AM – 10:15AM at The Church of Saint Richard 18th and Pollock Street with his funeral mass to follow at 10:30AM. Int S.S. Peter and Paul Cemetery.

I played drums in a group in 1959, The Primo Brothers, with Bobby. He would tear the nightclubs up when he played an alto sax and tenor sax at the same time. I could write a screenplay on Bobby of all his antics. One gig in Boston, he would jump on the bar fronting the stage and knock over patrons drinks, who didn’t care because they loved him so much.

There were fat too many good times we shared with Bobby and Carol as next door neighbors for close to ten years as we raised our children on Hutchinson Street. Their house was always full of love and music. Many memories like the many hours spent sitting on the front steps laughing and solving the world´s problems, the pinochle games and the joy of listening to Bobby playing his sax. The 240o block of Hutchinson Street and all the neighbors was a great place to live and raise a family. Bobby was a big part of our family. Test in peace dear friend.
