Robert "Bobby" Frank Borders, 68 of Columbus, GA passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at St. Francis Hospital with his loving family by his side.
A visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00PM, Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Robert better known as "Bobby" by his many friends and clients was born October 1, 1956 in Columbus, GA to Mary Louise "Petey" Wallace Borders and the late Frank Merton Borders, Jr. He was a graduate of (Hardaway High School), he was a member of Wynnbrook Baptist Church. Bobby was extremely talented and was very well known for his excellent woodwork. He had a great sense of humor and contagious personality. As a contractor he made many life-long friends and clients. He was greatly admired for his work ethics and creativity, also a UGA and NASCAR fan.
Other than his Father, Frank Merton Borders, Jr. Aunt and Uncle, Malcom and Shelia Wallace.
Survivors include his Mother: Mary Louise "Petey" Borders of Columbus, GA. Sisters: Nancy Williams (Gordon) of Elba, AL. and Patti Hathaway (Joseph) of Ocala, FL. Nieces: Robyn Keen (Allen) of Menlo, GA and Lindsey Snyder (David) of Ocala, FL. Aunt and Uncle Kathryn Taylor (Jeff) and their family, Franklin, NC. Great Nieces: Khloe Keen, Amelia Keen and Phebe Keen, Great Nephew: Aiden Snyder, Cousins: Kathy and Cam Wallace.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to American Cancer Society, Columbus Georgia or PAWS Humane Society.
